Introduction to Financial Freedom
Welcome to Make Friends with Numbers!
You might wonder, "What is this all about?" Well, here’s the big idea: the more I’ve become friends with numbers, the fewer worries I’ve had—and the more I’ve been able to manifest the life I desire.
In this masterclass, we’re transforming numbers from a source of stress into your biggest ally. After today, no more guesswork with your finances. You’ll know exactly how much money is flowing into your business, how much is going out, and—most importantly—what your profit truly is. Once you have that clarity, you can confidently plan your business, your life, and even your next vacation. Because when you understand your finances, you’re on the path to real freedom.
Many of you are running successful businesses, but when you see your bank account balance, you might think, “Oh, maybe I can afford that.” Yet deep down, you know those numbers aren’t the full picture. Without truly understanding your finances, relying solely on the flow of life and manifestation isn’t enough.
Manifestation is powerful, but when paired with financial clarity, it becomes unstoppable. That’s why I’m here—to help you stop guessing, start knowing, and build a sustainable future.
By the end of this session, you’ll make more money while working smarter, because you’ll be aligned with your finances. Let’s get started on this journey to financial freedom!
My Journey with Numbers
As you might hear, I’m French—and like most French people, I love good food and meaningful conversations. We treasure gathering around the table with family and friends, sharing delicious meals, cheese, and heartfelt moments. It’s a beautiful tradition I hold dear.
But it wasn’t always like this for me. Growing up, my family dinners were far from joyful. As a young teenager, I remember sitting at the dining table with the TV blaring in the background, eating quickly because no one was talking. My parents avoided conversations, especially about money or finances. They were stressed, overwhelmed, and definitely not friends with numbers.
That tension around money impacted our family life. We missed out on what could’ve been warm, connected moments together at the table.
When I turned 19 and left home to study, I made a promise to myself: Money will never get in the way of what I love most—being present with the people I care about and enjoying food and conversation.
The first step? I learned how to become friends with numbers. By 21, I had achieved financial freedom, and it changed my life.
Today, I’m here to share the very first secret that helped me find that freedom. Are you ready to hear it? Let’s begin!
Three Steps to Financial Freedom
Ready to experience real financial freedom—the kind that clears your mind and empowers your decisions? Here are the three fundamental steps to take charge of your finances and build a sustainable business:
You must know your profit. How much money is coming into your business and how much is going out?
You need to know your financial expectations. Ask yourself: What does your dream life cost? How much do you need to achieve your goals? Getting clear on these expectations gives you a target to work toward.
Align your pricing with your goals. Your pricing and offers must align with your financial expectations. This step ensures your business supports your desired lifestyle while remaining sustainable.
Step 1: Know Your Profit
This is the foundation of financial freedom. Why is it so important? Because a staggering 82% of businesses fail due to cash flow problems. Many overlook their finances, avoid regular reviews, and rely on guesswork. Simply looking at your bank balance isn’t enough to sustain a business long-term.
So, how do you know your profit? It’s simple:
Profit = Total Revenue - Total Expenses
You need to track exactly how much money is coming in (sales/revenue) and how much is going out (expenses). This clarity is essential.
Don’t get distracted by big revenue numbers you see on social media—claims of six-figure or seven-figure businesses. Revenue is the total money coming in, but profit is what truly matters. Profit reflects what’s left for you after covering all expenses and is the true measure of your business’s performance.
Recap: To know your profit, calculate the total sales/revenue, subtract all expenses, and the result is your profit. Simple, yet powerful. Tune in to the next Financial Friday episode for Step 2.
